About me

My hairdressing journey started when I came to London from Poland. I wanted to do something creative and fun. Back there I studied economics and started an apprenticeship in the National Insurance Scheme Company but soon I realised this is definitely not for me.
Around that time an amazing opportunity had arisen and I grabbed it with both hands , I was excited to go on an adventure to London.
I discovered a high profile salon in Primrose Hill where I was employed as an apprentice and later qualified as a stylist . I worked there for 5 years and I gained plenty of work experience and high standard customer care values. During my time there, I attended Joshua Galvin Academy and received NVQ2 certificate. I also took part in some advanced cutting and colouring training in Aveda Hair Institute.

In the next chapter of my life I decided to make my wish come true and travel. First on my list was Australia. I enjoyed it there for over 2 months. When I came back to London I applied for a senior stylist position in a pretty salon in Maida Vale, and I loved working there for 8 years. It was an amazing place where I grew as a hairdresser. I met many inspiring people with whom I’m still friends with until this day.

In 2012 I became a mum. I needed to rearrange my working hours to suit both my professional and family life. Mobile hairdressing gave me flexibility. However, I missed working in a salon environment . This led me to convert the top floor of my home into a beautiful hair studio. Since then I have invested in more education , I attended a few balayage courses and graduated in many Wella Professional Education Programs. Being a member of Freelance Hairdressers Association allows me to be up to date with additional training, have legal support and work insurance. It is important for me to do my best to provide a high quality service. I also make sure my guests feel relaxed and comfortable in my studio with a personal one-to-one appointment.

Moonstone Hair Studio was created with a palette of rose gold, blush pink and white furniture. Tropical plants and candles add to the experience of making my guests feel cozy and calm. It is filled with a gentle sound of music that I love my clients to choose whatever suits their mood.
I’m here to make you feel and look like a million dollars and I can’t wait to meet you!

Lots of love, xoxo Aga
